Deadlines for 2026 and 2027
Key dates for small and large producers, including the 1 April 2027 small-producer deadline.
Small producers

Small producers must also register each year and pay the registration fee by 1 April. GOV.UK notes the regulator cannot consider a registration application until packaging data has been provided.
Large producers

Large producers register and pay fees each year by 1 October.
Resubmissions
Changing data after submitting it may trigger a resubmission fee: £807 if registered directly, £512 if registered through a compliance scheme (GOV.UK). The resubmission deadline for 2025 data was 1 September 2026.
